1. 근로자의 날 Labor Day (May 1st): Known as '근로자의 날', it honors workers' contributions and is a day to rejuvenate their spirits. Many Korean employees don't work on this day.

2. 어린이 날 Children's Day (May 5th): '어린이 날' celebrates children's well-being and is rooted in history dating back to 1921. It's a time to nurture their love and spirit. Despite facing suppression during Japanese rule, it was reinstated after Korea's independence in 1946.

   

3. 💐어버이 날 Parent's Day (May 8th): '어버이 날' honors parental figures and is a day of gratitude and respect for elders. While many countries distinguish between Mother's Day and Father's Day, in Korea, both parents are celebrated on the same day.

6. 성년의 날 Coming of Age Day (Third Monday of May): '성년의 날' celebrates young adults turning 19, reminding them of their responsibilities as adults and fostering national values.

7. 석가탄신일 Buddha's Birthday (Varies in May): Known as '석가탄신일', it commemorates the birth of Buddha, it falls on the 8th day of the 4th lunar month, which typically corresponds to May in the solar calendar.
